Should’ve been a Cowboy…
We go to my Nana’s every year the week before the 4th to watch the Lehi parade and the Lehi Rodeo Roundup! It is one of my favorite summer traditions and gets me so excited to celebrate ‘Merica! 😉 This year I was especially excited to go to the a Rodeo because the song “Should’ve been a Cowboy” by Toby Kieth has been playing on repeat in my head for the past two weeks! I finally cured my obsession and convinced my self otherwise by watching those bull riders get trampled and thrown around! I loved spending time with my whole family though and seeing all my cute cousins! We sure have a good time when we get together.
Another reason I love the 4th of July is because I have this unhealthy obsession with American Flag apparel. If I see anything with an American Flag pattern on it I HAVE to have it, so when I saw this American Flag T at the cutest Boutique in springville called Dragonfly and Company Boutique (click their name to check out their Instagram) I had to buy it.
My other obsession is rodeo hair! (Is that even a thing? Haha) When I think of how I’m going to do my hair for a rodeo or around the 4th of July pigtails and braids always come to mind! Even though pigtails are usually reserved for 7 year old girls, I think there are lots of ways to make them look “grown up!” So when I saw Amber Fillerup Clarks tutorial for how to put extensions in when doing Dutch braid pigtails I knew it would be my new go to rodeo hair style! She’s seriously a genius and If you want to check out her tutorial click Here! And of course I used my Laced Hair Clip in Extensions! They are the only extensions I use anymore. Check them out Here!
I hope you all have as much fun this summer as I’m having! I love to hear from you guys so comment below or email me and let’s chat! See you next time beauties!
